Can aridirri reside in trees and rocks near a fresh water place or is it residing in the water….does ngalki come from aridirri? Is the the ngalki of the rocks, trees, animals etc that reside around a place where ardirri dwells, is the ngalki of that spirit child
ReplyHi Aimee … sorry for slow reply, Im just getting my head around this new technology. Thats a lot of good stuff you’re asking. I see you are booked in for a Zoom Session. Lets discuss this then? Let me know when you are ready to book in. Either text me 0414-303-603 or email me (im slower on email) to make an appt. Looking fwd to our zoom session.
ReplyHow are the animal spirits of a place, and the associated na-wunyingu or ‘bush name,’ determined/realised/understood? I am assuming that I am jumping ahead and that it involves ceremony and intuitive knowing and contact? Who performs this? Is it available to all with a sincere desire to know, or is it established more through established elders and historical “mapping” or “walking of country”? I’m sorry if my terminology etc. is still in a developmental stage 🙂
ReplyGreat questions. that’s a lot to address. all these things are something I have found that flows to you when u can hear it, or know it, or find it thru someone telling u, so yes to the last part of your questions that u have answered your own question really. also. when u begin engaging your dreaming wheel DW, or scared space, ask clearly. then, wait and be patient. expect nothing. notice everything. the answer will come from spirit ….WHAT AN AMAZING JOURNEY were all on
ReplyThanks again Hala! It is an amazing Journey that we are all on. There is a sense of fun to this particular part of the journey that makes me very happy 🙂
ReplyI live near beautiful sacred womens’ birthing holes, they say women come here to conceive and birth their children as it’s fertile land.
And I have a river running right by my cabin on this Gumbaynggirr land I call home.
I wonder what ardirri “spirit child” will find me when I conceive… and what the totem of this land is… I feel it may be the Spotted Quoll but I’m not exactly sure.
Such beautiful teachings!
